On Break by TBBM

Manny was new to the job and already he was rubbing the other staff at the office in less than a week since starting. When he wasn't boring his co-workers with his dreams of bigger things, implying that his current job was beneath him, he was also rather unprofessional.

It didn't take much to see that Manny had a way with words and not a good way. He was often flippant with customers on the phone, would show up late for work and at least twice snuck home early. This was in less than a week.

In short: there was discussion on how to handle Manny by bosses and co-workers alike. They wondered if they should simply fire him or give him a written warning about his conduct. The latter option was decided, until the second week of his employment, Manny began to cross a few too many lines.

Manny was aware that he was an attractive man and even when someone would insist they were not attracted to Manny, he would think otherwise.

One of the senior bosses observed Manny's behavior over the course of the morning, quietly seething at the young man's behavior. He noticed Manny offending three of workers over a sexist joke, had noticed Manny helping himself to some office supplies when he thought no one was looking at him and to add insult to injury, Manny had made the mistake of insulting this particular senior boss's husband to boot. Enough was enough. Manny had to be dealt with and fast before things further escalated.

When Manny conveniently snuck out 15 minutes earlier for lunch, the senior boss sent an email to the rest of the staff, telling them to take the rest of the day off but to be in early tomorrow for a treat.

It took only 15 minutes for them to leave, delighted with the shorter work day. When Manny returned nearly a half an hour than he was meant to, he was hit from behind. When he came to, he found himself hogtied on his own desk, a rag shoved in his mouth and another one tied over it to keep him quiet. Manny moaned furiously, doing his best to get himself free.

He soon realized that it was not a potential thief who had come into the near empty office and tied him, but it was the senior boss. Manny had no choice but to listen to the series of mess ups he had committed since starting at the office and while he tried to apologize and beg for forgiveness, this boss was showing none.

Manny stayed there for hours tied and gagged and moaning for mercy. When he did finally get free, he was handed his notice and told that he should be grateful he only had to suffer a little humiliation for his unprofessional working behavior.

Manny left the office, embarrassed , unemployed and oddly turned on by the experience.

Office work might not have been a good fit for him, but Manny realized something else might be.
