"Some years ago, Jon and I were cleaning up after a video shoot in a little hotel room. He decided suddenly to tie me up, and grabbed the nearest stuff at hand, which was a big stiff extension cord. I didn't think it would work, but I was soooo wrong. Extension cord is hard to apply securely, you have to be careful about how you wrap and where you lay it, but if it's done right, it's tough and hard and unyielding, and feels like you're encased in cement. There's simply no 'give' when it's been planned well!
"Here, the cord ran out before I reached the ankles :( so I grabbed another typical office item -- scotch tape."
