My dear members,
This is not an actual update of new photo or video. I needed to communicate with you today.
I'm sorry updates have fallen behind lately.
For a couple of months Jon and I were caring for one of our doggies who was terminal so we were XXXX in shifts of 3 hours apiece much of the time... and some shoots got messed up by the dog's medical emergencies... so we weren't shooting as often and our shoots weren't as productive as usual.
The little doggie has passed away and we've been trying to catch up on work, but then recently, my spine went out of alignment so thoroughly that I couldn't work. (Couldn't read, couldn't watch video footage, couldn't chew, etc.) So now I'm receiving daily treatments from a new doctor and I'll be gradually working my way back to full steam on shoots. I promise to work diligently on catching up all the updates that are behind schedule.
By the way, most people keep assuming that my back is messed up from being a bondagette. That's not the problem. At age 18 I was in a car accident which set up a basic weakness in my back. Then, since 1990 or so, most of my work time has been in front of a computer screen, and those long hours with my head bent toward the monitor have damaged my neck vertebrae -- some of the damage is permanent, but some of it can be repaired. Down at the other end of my back, the years of crouching when rigging, photographing, and videoing, have done damage there too. That damage likewise has a mix of reparable and irreparable injury. But I should be fairly functional soon -- and then I'll make things up.
