Tonight was the night. With the lamest security officer guarding the vault, LA's greatest thief knew it was his chance to make off with the rarest of gems. It was almost too easy.
Not only was the thief smarter and faster than Dante, the spoiled college jock XXXX to do security as part of some community service his father arranged with the courts but the thief was also stronger than Dante.
It didn't take long for thief to grab Dante from behind and pin him to a nearby chair. It also didn't take long for Dante then to be tightly bound and gagged to that, blindfolded as well as the thief took delight in his own cleverness.
The thief watched the handsome but hapless security struggle to free himself and call out for help. For a moment he felt almost a little bad Dante but as he looked at the gem in his hand, the last of his kind, the thief's pity for Dante went away.
He patted the annoyed and bound guard on the head before slipping away in the night, pleased with his acquisition.
It wouldn't be until morning before Dante's angry father and boss arrived to free him.
