Rex and Rick were not the easiest of room mates to live with. For a start, they were college students but didn't work and were often late with the rent and bills. On top of that, they were also throwing loud parties most nights in the week to the annoyance of the neighbours. Something had to be done about them.

 

The landlord had been getting so many complaints about Rex and Rick that he couldn't ignore and yet, he didn't want to kick them out of the house. Although they were bad tenants, they were nice to look at. Instead he would pay them a house call and try to reason with them. He was convinced all it would take was one conversation and the lads would see the error of their ways and improve their bad behaviour. 

 

However when the landlord arrived at the boys place, it was the middle of the afternoon and the place was in a mess, clearly not been tidied properly for weeks. As a neat freak, this set the landlord's teeth on edge and he wasted no time castigating both Rex and Rick for their unruly behaviour.

 

Although both Rex and Rick could tell their landlord was genuinely mad at them, instead of apologising to him, they made the fatal error of telling him to "relax" and calling him an "old man".

 

The landlord responded by knocking the pair out and when they woke up an hour later, both Rex and Rick realised they were in the kitchen. More than that, they realised they were bound and gagged back to back on chairs. As the boys struggled in their bonds to no avail, the landlord who had gone upstairs came down to greet them with a look of disgust. The last party in the house had resulted in a spare being broke as well as some tiles in the bathroom and a shower rail.

 

The landlord then explained to the boys that they were going to pay for the damages and as both Rex and Rick tried to feebly explain they had no cash at the moment, the landlord said something that left both guys tongue tied in their gags.

 

The landlord had a few calls to make but when he returned, he wouldn't be alone and both Rex and Rick were going to be model tenants from now on. and pay for the damages their partying has caused. This was something they wouldn't have a choice in.

 

All Rex and Rick could do now was sit and guess how they could try and talk their way out of this one.
