FROG ATTACK! by SoftTouch

No one was supposed to know about this secret naval base at Montford Castle, never mind being here, but all of a sudden there they were. Two men in strange frogman outfits unlike any Gary had ever seen before. Gary tried to duck back out of sight, but they saw him. There was a quick flurry of heavy blows all around Gary's head and shoulders and then his lights went out.

When Gary woke up again he found himself in one of the old side rooms of the castle that no one ever used. His wrists had been lashed behind him and there were more ropes digging into his dungaree's crisscrossed over his arms and crotch. And now his mouth was tasting like cotton for some reason. It took Gary another few moments to realize that his handkerchief had now been tied between his teeth and some heavy duct tape had been plastered over his lips to keep him quiet.

Then Gary's vision cleared and he saw one of the strange frogmen standing in front of him. Gary cursed into his gag and lunged at the man in the rubber outfit, but the big man grabbed Gary by his face and shoved him back into a chair. Gary didn't like it, but it was hard to fight with your hands tied behind your back. And there wasn't very much he could do to stop his captor from lashing his ankles to the legs of the chair. Then his captor laughed as he went out and closed the door.

Gary listened to be sure that the frog guy was really gone. Then he began to struggle against the tight ropes that were binding his wrists and arms.

He tried and tried, but it was no good. Those ropes were too strong.

And then Gary heard a loud crash outside the door like someone had dropped a heavy crate on the floor. And then he heard a lot of loud cursing. And then the door opened and the frogman came back in. Gary tried pleading behind his gag for the frogman to untie him, but the frogman just laughed at him and then tied a folded cloth over Gary's eyes so that he wouldn't see the frogman leave.

The frogman then walked softly over to the door, eased it open and then closed it tight after he slipped out of Gary's cell. Gary couldn't see him, but with his eyes covered, his ears could easily hear him sneaking off and Gary smiled against the tape over his mouth. He had to get out of here!

Gary started struggling against his arm ropes again, but then he happened to move his foot and felt how loose the rope was there. He moved his foot a little more and he could feel the rope loosening and slipping away from the chair leg. That frogman was no sailor!

In another few moments Gary had the ropes around his ankles lose enough so that he cold just slip out of them. Then he stood up and listened carefully. He heard no sound. So then he began inching his feet toward where he thought the door was until his toes finally touched the wall.

Gary leaned forward until he could feel the door against his head. Then he rubbed his head up and down against the door until he finally managed to rub the blindfold up off of his eyes. Yes, he was alone!

Gary put his ear to the door and listened carefully. He couldn't hear anybody on the other side of the door, but they might be there, just waiting for him. Gary decided that he had no choice. He lifted his leg and kicked the door just as hard as he could.

Then he dashed out into the hallway, ready to do battle if he had to.

But no, he was alone. He didn't know which way those frogmen went, but Gary knew where he had to go.

It was time to call out the Marines!
