Kyle thought it was the easiest bet he could win. He was a man who could talk himself out of any situation possible but his friend had other ideas. 'This isn't so much a talk your way out kind of deal' his friend said cryptically as they hung out in Kyle's bedroom. 'What kind of deal is it then?' Kyle asked, cynicism creeping into his voice. 'You like a challenge, right?' The friend asked coyly and Kyle could see his friend was taking items out of his bag. Kyle did not like where this was going but said nothing for the time being. 'Oh, now I get it,' Kyle looked at the items, before asking. 'How long do I have?' 'Seeing as you're so good at getting out of things,' the friend smiled suggestively, 'let's say twenty minutes'. 'And if it takes longer than that?' Kyle asked, allowing himself to surrender as his friend picked up the first item and grabbed both of Kyle's arms. 'Then it's not good for you' the friend replied, before asking. 'You're not nervous, are you?' Kyle said nothing but shot him a cocky smile. He was nervous but his friend didn't need to know that. Five minutes later, Kyle was bound, gagged and blindfolded on his own bed while his friend went downstairs to get something to eat. He had twenty minutes to get himself out of the bind he was in. The friend had said the ropes wouldn't be too tight. Kyle realized the friend had lied as his attempts to get loose weren't successful. Soon enough, twenty minutes had passed and with only the blindfold down from eyes, Kyle could see that his friend was looking too pleased with himself. David was the best Federal Agent in the state and he was just one more case in order to bag the biggest promotion he could get in his career. The target for his promotion was someone whom he befriended but tonight and he was the type of career criminal that didn't trust easily. David was about to turn the table on the guy and make the biggest seizure of his career but in his arrogance, he decided to do it alone. The last thing he wanted was someone else taking credit for his hard work. Dressed in his official uniform, David stopped by the house, ready to seize his man but upon stepping into the criminal's home, he realised that something was amiss. Stupidly, David called out, asking if someone was there, unaware that his man was standing right behind him. Before David could react, he felt a hand clamp over his mouth and he was dragged away, with everything going black. David woke up sometime later in a room, bound tightly to a chair with bright red rope. He struggled in his bonds for a few minutes before he soon realised that he had company. The man loomed over him and David tried to play the situation off as a joke. "Hey, dude, untie me, will ya? I have to bring this costume back to the store by tomorrow". The man however seemed unmoved by David's attempts to lie to him. A hand clamped over David's mouth and he whimpered as he was patted on the chest. "Quiet, no-one wants to hear your big mouth," the man said, his tone even but David could tell that he was in big trouble. "You thought you could fool me, huh, David?" David nodded in admission, realising that he had been rumbled. "I wasn't stupid," the man continued, "I knew who you were and I wanted to see how far you'd go to try and catch me." David looked on as the man released his hand from his mouth and then left the room for a moment. When he came back, David could see the man had a roll of duct tape and a bandanna with him. "You know holding an agent captive is going to make things worse for you," David said, trying to regain some authority but the man didn't care. As David struggled some more, the man shoved the bandanna into David's mouth and tightened it quickly. "I have things to do, pretty boy," the man said, tying the bandanna tightly. "And I can't have you causing me trouble, so you're gonna sit here for a while until I get them done and decide what to do with you, understood?" David tried to protest some more, but the man clamped his hand over David's gagged mouth and sternly told him, "nobody wants to hear it." David grunted as the man then began to tape the bandanna firmly shut on him, before taunting David and saying that he liked the duct tape. David didn't but it wasn't like he could say otherwise and even if he could, his captor certainly didn't care. The man gave David one last look before leaving the room and locking the door behind him. With no-one aware of David's mission, he knew that backup wouldn't be coming to his aid at all and that he was at the mercy of a man who could do anything to him now that David was firmly secured. David struggled more and more in his bonds but it was to no avail.

Rick was certain that cowpokes from the Circle J ranch were stealing his ranch’s cattle. He just needed proof. He sneaked onto the ranch hoping to find some evidence. Rick was certain that he went unseen as he saw some of the Circle J’s men unloading cattle. The cows all had the Covered I, Rick’s brand! They were stealing his cattle! He had to get back to the ranch and tell his brother what was going on. Rick got onto his horse to ride away as fast as he could. Unfortunately Rick had been seen. A man was hiding in the bushes and as Rick rode by, he was XXXX off his horse to the ground. Winded, Rick could barely put up a fight as he was tied up with rope around his hands and chest. A thick cloth was used to gag the captured cowboy. The man XXXX Rick onto his horse like a sack of potatoes and rode off. It didn't’ take long for Rick to see where he was going, right back to the Circle J Ranch! Rick as hustled into the main house and pushed into the living room. Rick fell to his knees. Looking up he saw Jay Madison,the owner of the Circle K. “So we caught a snoop. I guess we’ll have to keep you out of the way for a while.” “Mmmpphh!”, Rick protested for all the good it did him. He was bound up nice and tight. These men could do whatever they wanted with him. “Keep him here until I decide what to do with him”, Madison said to his men right before he left. The rustlers made sure that Rick was even more secured by tying his booted feet and knees with more rope. They then left him to roll around on the hard wooden floor. Desperately Rick struggled against his bondage. He tried twisting his body, trying ot get some slack in the ropes that bound him. Unfortunately it was useless. These men knew how to rope a dude so he couldn't’ get away. Event he gag was too tight to slip off. Rick had no idea how long lay tied up and gagged. Eventually Madison came back in with his henchmen. “I have a plan on what to do with you now.”, Madison said with sneer. “Mmmmmpphh!”, IF Rick hadn't’ been gagged, he would have told Madison what he could do with his plan. But the thick cloth filling his mouth made that impossible. “I am going to use you as bait for your brother. Then I can kill two birds with one stone. Bwahahahahaha!” Madison laughed at his own grim joke. Rick was then blindfolded so he couldn’t even see what what they had planned. Bound and gagged, Rick would be unable to give any kind of warning.
