Looking at these photos, I'm recalling a piece of advice for anyone who ever shoots in a hotel room.  Your pics will usually look better if you take the busy-pattern-bedspread off the bed and hide it somewhere.  Don't you agree these pics look nicer because there's no goofy-colored acid-paisley blanket in the XXXX?  :)

Pics of Lorelei, Jon Woods & Ikaras Jones by Martin - - These pics were taken in a hotel room at a bondage convention many years ago.  I don't remember who-all was in the room at the time, but I know I was there (har! har!) and Martin, and Andre the ToonMan, and probably Sara Nychols, and maybe other folks too -- I don't recall.  For some reason Jon wasn't in the room at first, but I wanted the bondage to begin, so I started to tie my legs.  Soon Martin picked up a camera and started to take snapshots.  When my sweetie Jon showed up he finished the job, then Ikaras hoisted me into the air.  So a good time was had by all!  :)  I think you can kinda tell how happy I am to get tied, by the expression on my face.

Portable Flying Spread-Eagle - Behind the Scenes - Loren Chance and Lorelei

When rigging suspensions, I prefer to remove a support to begin the suspension, instead of "hoisting" the captive into the air. And of course I always do support-removal for flying spread-eagles. Usually we use one of my institutional tables as the pre-support, but that wouldn't fit in the van, so this time we had to use stools.

The center of a lady's weight is right about at her hips, so in a suspension, the most important place to provide support is at that hip point. For this position, I provided the primary weight support a tad south, via separate top-of-thigh ropes. Secondary weight support was located above and below the breasts. All other ropes were only incidental to weight support.
